Security+ Certification Practice Exam
A 50-question practice set covering all five CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) domains, for exam-readiness self-assessment.
Learning Objectives
- → Self-assess readiness across all five Security+ (SY0-701) domains
- → Identify weak domains needing further review before sitting the real exam
About This Practice Set
CompTIA Security+ (SY0-701) is organized into five domains. This practice set has 10 questions per domain — 50 total — for balanced self-assessment across the whole exam blueprint. This is not the officially weighted exam distribution (the real exam weights Security Operations and Threats/Vulnerabilities/Mitigations more heavily); it's deliberately even so no domain gets skipped in your review.
| # | Domain |
|---|---|
| 1 | General Security Concepts |
| 2 | Threats, Vulnerabilities & Mitigations |
| 3 | Security Architecture |
| 4 | Security Operations |
| 5 | Security Program Management (GRC) |
How to Use This Practice Set
Take it once cold to find your weak domains, then revisit the specific VigilForge lessons that cover any domain where you scored below ~80% before retaking it. This set draws directly on concepts already covered across Foundation, Networking, Cybersecurity Fundamentals (including the GRC and Compliance Frameworks lessons), and Advanced Security.
What This Isn't
This is a readiness signal, not a guarantee — it doesn't replace CompTIA's own official practice exams, and passing this set comfortably doesn't mean the real exam will feel identical in format or difficulty.
